What HMR does

  • Provisioning — creates a did:oas:<ns>:hmr:* for a verified human. Single-key or FROST-threshold variants.
  • Resolution — given a DID, returns the canonical OAS document with lineage and verification methods.
  • Recovery — social recovery via pre-designated guardians (t-of-n). Rate-limited: one attempt per 24 hours.
HMR is the lineage terminus. Every agent chain must resolve to either an HMR or MHR.
